What to Buy

Mustard Seed Cards donates 10% of the price of every card sold to charity, and this is already making a difference to a number of national and local charities including Treasures of Darkness. Many of us like to buy charity Christmas cards and Mustard Seed Cards enables you to support charitable work throughout the year, whenever you buy a card, whatever the occasion.

This supports the charity financially but also, sometimes more importantly, by raising awareness of their work with the people that receive Mustard Seed Cards. You can support the work of Treasures of Darkness by buying your cards and notelets from Mustard Seed Cards.

What to Give

  1. Treasures of Darkness suggests that you donate a piece of jewellery that has sufficient value to put towards the work of rescue.
  2. If you do not have a suitable piece of jewellery you may wish to donate another "treasure" which could be sold to aid those in danger of modern slavery.
  3. You may wish to give a simple one off donation to the work.

How to Give

We want to make this as easy for you as possible and so there are a variety of ways set out below. Please use whichever one is most helpful for you.

  1. You could sell your treasure yourself and donate the proceeds to Treasures of Darkness. You may wish to send your donation through Paypal:

  2. You can use eBay to sell your treasures! We are linking up with MissionFish which is a UK charity that helps charities benefit from sales through eBay. When you list your items just tick the Charity box when you are listing your item. Choose the percentage of your final sale price that you want to go to Treasures of Darkness and then nominate us as your chosen charity. You will then be taken through a simple registration process with MissionFish. Once the item sells, your donation is automatically paid into the Treasures of Darkness bank account along with Gift Aid (if you have ticked the box) and an eBay free donation.

    NOTE: Treasures of Darkness' charity number is 1123082.

  3. Sometimes the way to get the best price for more valuable items is to place these in a private auction. We recommend that you consult a local expert in the type of "treasure" you intend to sell in order to find the best way of doing this. Sending the money can be the same way as in 1 and 2 above.
  4. If necessary you can send the items to us, suitably insured for posting, and we will sell them for you. The address to send these is
